Are your feet extra-sensitive to the cold? Mine sure are and this week, as temps have plunged, I’ve been feeling extra frosty. So here’s how I handle the big chill: Before heading outdoors, I put on a pair of thin socks. Then I grab a thicker, warmer pair, and shake about ½ teaspoon of ground cayenne pepper into each sock. I slip these over the thinner ones, and then I’m good to go. My feet stay toasty warm, even when everyone else has footsicles!
When you come inside from the cold, there’s no better way to treat your feet than with our Revitalizing Foot & Heel Cream. The enhanced, extra-strength formula works like crazy on tired, worn out, or neglected feet, smoothing and soothing even the roughest, toughest skin.
And here’s a feel-good foot tip for your furry pals: If you like taking your dog for walks, even on the coldest days, rub his paws with a little hair conditioner before heading out. It will help keep salt and other chemicals from irritating his footpads. Then when you get back inside, wash Fido’s feet (including the hair between his toes) with dog shampoo and rinse them thoroughly—before he has a chance to lick off any of the toxic chemicals. That way, both of you will be happy!
